Local MVP

Client-side only. No data upload.

Planned later

URL fetching is intentionally not active in this local MVP.

Analyze HTML

Local mode works with pasted or uploaded HTML. URL fetching is intentionally disabled.

New here? Load sample is a short starter page. Load demo HTML is a fuller mixed-link walkthrough with affiliate, redirect, shortener and internal CTA examples.

Need help getting the HTML?

The field expands as you paste. Very long HTML remains scrollable inside the editor.

Browser-based local analysis only. Very large HTML should be reduced before analysis (max 500000 characters).

Coming later - local mode uses pasted or uploaded HTML.

No file selected.

Uploaded files are read locally by your browser. They are not transmitted.

No backend, no analytics, no tracking, no external API calls.

First-Pass Local HTML Report

Run a local analysis to generate an indicative first-pass report.

No report yet

For a quick walkthrough: choose Load sample, select Analyze locally, then review the top priority issue and manual backlog items.

For your own page: paste HTML or upload an .html file. No data leaves your browser.

How to use this free local mode

Use this when you have an affiliate article, review or comparison page and want a quick local friction check.

Your HTML is processed locally in your browser. It is not uploaded, stored or sent to Open Utility Lab.

Steps

  1. Open the affiliate article or page you want to audit.
  2. Copy the page HTML or save it as an .html file.
  3. Paste the HTML here or upload the file.
  4. Run the local analysis and review the friction report.

Getting the HTML

Chrome / Edge / Firefox: Right click on the page, choose View Page Source, copy all, then paste here.

Alternative: Save Page As, choose Web Page, HTML only, then upload the .html file.

What the score means

The score is indicative, based only on observable HTML signals. It is not a revenue prediction, compliance certification or ranking guarantee.

Prioritize opaque tracking, shorteners, unclear CTAs, weak monetization paths and internal commercial CTAs when planning manual review.

What this detects

  • Affiliate-looking links
  • CTA signals
  • Weak tracking links
  • Commercial intent signals
  • Basic metadata and heading structure
  • Possible friction points

What this does not detect yet

  • Live crawling or URL fetching
  • JavaScript-rendered destination verification unless included in the provided HTML
  • Legal compliance certification
  • Revenue estimates
  • Ranking guarantees
